AppVee posted a thoughtful and thorough review on Hexile yesterday. There’s also a great video on YouTube explaining the gameplay. Check it out here: http://www.appvee.com/t/hexile

In a recent review by TouchMyApps, Hexile was rated a “Grab It” game. Here’s a snippet of what they had to say:
Overall, I must say Hexile is a very impressive and promising puzzle game. I often found myself fully immersed, with my finger rapidly tapping away and my brain attempting to keep up with the “High Low” count of numbers. Mix this in with vital power ups needed to help solve levels and you have yourself a highly addictive game. Fusion Development Group has created a winner in Hexile and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fresh new puzzler.

We’ve dropped the price of Hexile to $0.99 through January. Hexile saw many more users come on board from the last short sale - so many in fact, that we’re convinced if we gave it a month, we can seriously expand the Hexile community.
Just about 100% of our reviewers valued Hexile at or above its original $1.99 price point. This has assured us that we have set a fair price for the long run. In the meantime, we want as many people as possible to discover our game.
If we get enough Hexile fanatics on board, we’ll pursue our ambitious goals of a second release, a MAJOR update to the game.
Hexile uses Flurry to capture basic, anonymous usage information. Although we’re primarily using this for realtime crash reporting, we saw a spike in usage shortly after launching that we’re quite proud of:
Hexile is on sale at $0.99, down from its original $1.99, for 24 hours. The price drop was released on the TouchArcade forum first (they have provided tremendous feedback and help in our BETA phase).
This is in celebration of our release.
The music in Hexile is a mix of hand composition, percussive layouts, and some killer orchestration loops. It was born entirely out of Logic Pro Studio, which is by far the most amazing composition suite we’ve ever used from a cost-to-benefit perspective.
We’re former Fruity Loops, Cakewalk, and Abelton users. They don’t come close to the simplicity and sheer amount of FREE STUFF that comes with Logic.
Hexile was released on the App Store this morning. It only took ten days in the approval queue, and iTunes Connect was shut down for three of those. Not bad for a holiday break. Thanks for pushing us through, Apple!
Hexile (1.0) was submitted to the iTunes Store today! We know Apple will be busy (and then closed) over the holidays, but hopefully Hexile will show up in time to celebrate the New Year.
